WAIVER GENERALIST
Community Based Services-Bronx Waiver
The Waiver Generalist will assist in overall program management in a number of different areas. Focus will include, but is not limited to, the following:

Crisis response (daytime and nighttime), binder review, post discharge case follow-up, fieldwork, maintenance of a caseload, system management, and documentation. The Waiver Generalist will provide ongoing intensive interventions aimed at the de-escalating and educating the family in order to maintain family stability. The Waiver Generalist works with the family on time-limited goals based on the presenting crisis. It may be required that the Waiver Generalist be available to respond to crisis 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Master's Degree in one of the following fields: audiology, child and family studies, communication disorders, community mental health, counseling, education, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, recreation, recreation therapy, rehabilitation, social work, socialogy, or speech and language pathology, human services, human development, criminal justice or other related degrees, or a NYS Teacher's Certificate, and two years experience providing direct services for children with one or more of the following primary diagnoses: mental illness, mental retardation, alcoholism, chemical dependency or substance abuse.
SUPERVISOR: WAIVER-BRONX
Community Based Services-Bronx Waiver
The Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Individualized Care Coordinators. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the coordination of training, evaluating, and assigning of staff. The Supervisor is also responsible to assist in program presentations in the Bronx and participate in the Single Point of Access process in the Bronx.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR-WAIVER PROGRAM

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for various managerial aspectsof the Families First HCBS Waiver Program in the Bronx.. Responsible for supervision of Individualized Care Coordinators and Waiver Supervisors. The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of training and evaluating staff and manages the CBS Training Institute.

CASE WORKER
Foster Boarding Home-Intake
The Intake Unit Caseworker ensures a smooth transition for children placed in care, including monitoring initial adjustment to placement, and provision of services to children and families. He/she works very intensively with biological families to ensure that children placed in care achieve permanency as quickly as possible.

Provides direction and oversight to unit, which works with severely emotionally disturbed children. Supervises Caseworkers in the unit, and other staff as assigned.

RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST
Foster Boarding Home
The Recruitment Specialist in Foster Boarding Home is responsible for the recruitment, screening, training, assessment and certification of all foster care applicants including regular, kinship, TFBH and Respite. He/she maintains all foster care licenses and approvals, through annual recertifications and documentation, and provides regular and ongoing training for new and existing foster parents. He/she does recruitment of all foster care applicants through community events, speaking engagements, and other planned strategic events, and maintains all foster home records, including medicals, SCR and criminal history checks. He she must locate replacement homes for foster children in need of homes as necessary.
