Individual Counseling is a based on a strength based approach that allows Consumers full participation and involvement in the decision making process.The aim is for Consumers to have every opportunity to meet their goals and objectives.
Community Engagement
All of our Consumers are encouraged to become a part of the local Community.They are encouraged and are offered opportunities to participate in the Community as volunteers, workers, students, and as good citizens. The Community residents are also invited to participate in the lives of the Consumers (picnic, cookout, and holiday celebration).
Support System
At Saint Dominic's Home we believe that all of the Consumers are in need
of a strong support system. We begin by addressing the immediate needs
of providing healthy food, superb housing, a safe environment and access to Therapautic/Medical and Dental Care and involvement in the Community
is intergrated into the plan. |
