NFL Star Ryan Grant Visits St. Dominic's as Part of the School's 'Spirit Week'

"Hard work and believing in yourself," was the message Ryan Grant of the Greenbay Packers delivered to 78 students and 26 staff members at St. Dominic's School in Blauvelt. Grant, a six-year NFL veteran running back and former Nyack resident, visited the school on May 21 as a culmination of "Spirit Week."

New Principal at 853 School
Veteran certified educator Susan La Due has been appointed Principal of St. Dominic’s 853 School in Blauvelt. Ms. La Due joins Saint Dominic’s Home from The Carol and Frank Biondi Education Center, where for six years she was principal of the private middle and high school operated by the nonprofit agency Leake & Watts in Yonkers, N.Y.
