Treatment Family Foster Care The Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) Program is a family-based alternative to children and youths being placed in institutions who are 7 to 21 years of age. The program is for children with moderate to severe emotional and behavioral issues whose needs can be met in a family setting. Due to the mental health and behavioral issues of the children, the caseloads of the staff are much smaller. This allows the staff to spend more time with the foster parents and children, both in the office and in the foster homes. Foster Parents and staff receive specialized training to assist them in working with the children in the program. There is a monthly Foster Parent Support Group conducted by supervisory staff to provide ongoing support and training to all of the foster parents
